JCastillo Seguros to launch sports grant for the winner of the Baza International W35 Open
JCastillo Seguros will launch a new sports grant for the winner of this year’s JCastillo-Occident by Diputación de Granada W35 International Tennis Open, currently being held at the facilities of Club de Tenis Cid Hiaya in Baza. This is the first time the initiative has been introduced, with the aim of contributing to the professional development of the player who is crowned champion of this edition.
The grant will consist of a monthly contribution of 500 euros for one year, in addition to the prize money awarded to the tournament winner. In this way, the initiative will provide the champion with continued financial support throughout the twelve months following her victory, helping her plan her season and contributing towards some of the costs associated with competition, such as travel, training, equipment and participation in further tournaments.
To qualify for the grant, the champion must be a Spanish player or, alternatively, provide proof of residence in Spain. Through this initiative, JCastillo Seguros is strengthening its commitment to supporting women’s tennis and competitive sport, going beyond its role as the tournament’s main sponsor. The company is linking its brand to a form of support that aims to extend beyond the sporting result itself and help sustain the career of the player who claims this year’s title in Baza.
